Zine Workshops

My zine workshops are closely connected to Buluntu Fanzin, an ongoing publication project in which I explore working with found objects, images, and texts. In these sessions, I share my artistic process with participants, introducing creative writing techniques alongside visual experimentation.

Participants are invited to create their own zines using found paper, photographs, and other materials that I provide. By combining collage, writing, and personal expression, each workshop becomes a collective exploration of memory, everyday objects, and storytelling.

The workshops are open in format and adaptable to different groups, but they always center around the idea that simple, “found” materials can open up unexpected and powerful ways of expressing oneself.

Fluctoplasma Festival 2022

Buluntu Zine Workshop / 28.10.2022

Do you ever find things and wonder how they got there? Ownerless photographs, shopping lists, doodles or torn love letters… How did they find their way onto the streets? We don’t know, but we can imagine stories about these objects. In this workshop, you can go through #BuluntuZine‘s preparation process collectively with the artist Zeynep Sıla Demircioğlu @zeynepsilaart. To approach personal and everyday utopias, participants will collect materials on the streets of Hamburg and craft zines – utopias from the streets.

The workshop at @markkhamburg lasts 2.5 hours. The number of participants is limited. Register at info@fluctoplasma.com.

Zine Workshop with international students in Wroclaw 18/04/2018

In the zine workshop, at first I made a presentation about my personal production process. I showed my techniques of working with found objects.
We went to green parks for a hunt for collecting ownerless objects. When we returned the school, children start to create a story with their findings.
