New Zine Workshop on November and December 2023

I am giving two zine workshop in Haus Drei Stadtteil und Kulturzentrum. Workshop is free of cost, pre-registration is required.

New Anidoc Movie: Aufgeben Kam nicht in Frage

In 2022-2023 I was busy with making a new animated documentary film. I collaborated with HFBK, Susanne Haußmann, and we developed this film idea for Herz-Schlag Austellung by GWA St. Pauli.

Graduation film: Rolling Eyes

“What would be useful to know before experiencing sexism in daily life? Starting from this question,
Rolling Eyes takes its audience into a computer game simulation where badass feminist fighters
defeat street harassers and sexist colleagues. The film aims to deal with everyday sexist behaviors
and feminist strategies to undermine them in a humorous and empowering way."

Buluntu Zine Workshop in Bundesfachkongress Interkultur!

On the 14th of October, I was in 7. Bundesfachkongress Interkultur to talk about my Buluntu Zine practice. Then we made mini zine exercise.

New Animation Workshop for the Weekend

I am giving a stop-motion workshop in Ossara @ossaraev. It will be in English and German. Workshop hours: 29.07.2023 11:00- 16:00, 30.07.2023 12:00-16:00. It is open to all women and LGBTQIA+ . MDR tv channel made a program about directors and their movies which attend DOK Leipzig Film Festivals. I was there too with my film.

Bizim Hikayemiz – Unsere Geschichte

Ein Film aus der Nachbarinnenschaft über weibliche Migrationsgeschichten auf St. Pauli.

Vor einem Jahr startete die Filmemacherin Gulzat Matisakova mit Nachbarinnen das Experiment einer kollektiven Filmproduktion. Unterstützt wurde sie von Atossa Zolghadri (Projekt-Koordination) und Zeynep Sıla Demircioğlu (Film-Animation). Im Mittelpunkt des Filmprojekts stehen die weiblichen Migrationsgeschichten in der Nachbarschaft: „Seit Jahrzehnten leben wir auf St. Pauli. Es ist unser gemeinsames Zuhause geworden. Wir wünschen uns ein freundlicheres Zusammenleben. Wir treffen uns täglich auf der Straße, wir grüßen uns, wir reden, aber wer wir wirklich sind, wissen wir nicht voneinander. Mit diesem Film wollen wir unsere Geschichte mit Euch teilen. Die Geschichten mehrerer Generationen.“
